From Thursday 29 January 2026 during school terms – term fees apply
Physical literacy, agility & fitness, falling & defense skills, judo skills, respect for self & others, new friends
- Kids 7-10 years Tuesdays & Thursdays: 4.00 – 4.50 pm
- Kids 11-15 years Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5.00 – 5.50 pm
- Per term 1/week $220, 2/week $270

- Women’s Judo 14 yrs+ Fridays 5.00 – 5.55 pm
- Per term 1/week $220
- Ground grappling – Judo Newaza, Fridays 6.00 – 6.55 pm
- Fortnightly 1 class per week $38 – 2 classes / week $49
- Mid Life Mastery – Women & Men +35yrs Fridays 7.05-8.00 pm
- Fortnightly 1 class per week $38 – 2 classes / week $49
From Thursday 29 January 2026 Ongoing – fortnightly fees apply
- Starters 15 yrs+ years – White & yellow belts Tuesday and Thursdays: 6.00 – 6.55 pm
- Fundamental judo skills including safe falling leading to the first belts in judo.
- Trainers 15 yrs+ Orange belts upwards Tuesday and Thursdays: 5.30 – 6.25 pm.
- Progress through the skills and ranks in judo for competition, education, and fitness
- Kodokan Kata (Orange belt up) & Dan Grade Preparation
- Tuesday and Thursdays: 8.25 – 9.15 pm one or two classes per week, pre booking essential
- Personal lessons, including Kata for two persons $125
- One session $25 and a three session pass $60
How Do I Join?
It’s easy – Call or email then come 5 minutes early and meet the teacher, fill out a form, put on a loan suit then join-in. It’s all about learning at your pace.
Teachers and other students will assist you.
2. State and National Judo Registration
The annual registration fee must be paid by the 4th week. It lasts for one year from the time of payment. Kids: $100 / Over 15 years: $150

Membership ensures you have accredited coaches and includes State and National memberships, insurance, and eligibility for the world-recognised belt gradings, competitions, training seminars and activities with other affiliated clubs all over Australia.

4. The Gi
A club judo suit (gi) – can be ordered through the club and will be $150. We also distribute world famous Kusakura Judo-gis and embroidered belts. See the range at: https://kusakuraoceania.com/ or Contact us for assistance.
5. Gradings
We offer club gradings 2-3 times per year. This is a challenge for players to test their knowledge, skill and progress. Gradings are $65 and include a belt and an internationally recognised certificate.
